The treasure of treasures that cannot be bought
A relentless journey, it must be sought
The map here lies upon your heart

Is only received, for in the spirit, is it caught.

In today's society, many are able to gain a quick dollar off of being simple-minded. Wealth and fame are no longer only for those of intellect and innovation, of raw talent and drive. Rather, riches are being poured out upon the crude and foul. And big names are being made across social media platforms based on perversion and vanity. Somewhere along the way, people started calling evil, "good." Vanity has replaced humility; ego has squelched meekness, and the love of many has waxed cold for others, while the love of self has skyrocketed. But, it's nothing that wasn't already written...
We live in a time where fools are elevated to fame and fortune by way of dishonor. They have in their possession enough wealth, it seems, to buy wisdom- from books, podcasts, media; or from their own status and connections. However, even if a fool purchased such wisdom, his or her heart would not receive it.
One does not gain wisdom through money nor social prominence. Stardom does not come these days by means of talent and genius, but rather by selling your body and your soul to the lusts of this evil age. It is no longer rare, to be famous and to amass a "following" on social media. It no longer shocks people to hear about a young woman amassing her fortune through sexually explicit content being made available online, nor does it surprise people to hear that men are consuming such content at higher rates than ever. People are addicted to filming themselves from morning to evening, obsessed with the number of every "like" and "follow" increasing, and they are becoming depressed and suicidal due to basing their identity upon this digital age that we live in. Society may seem to be soaring in tech innovation, but humanity is collapsing.
And while there are more young million- and billionaires than ever, there is less wisdom in the hearts of man than ever before. Wisdom is being ushered out, and vanity has set in. When vanity takes over, when people become so self-aware that they are no longer aware of others, the reality of how humans must be connected in love and selflessness in order for a society to function begins to crumble. Without the synergy of mankind working together, honoring one another in love and respect, cooperating while simultaneously sacrificing, society collapses. There is no greater display of love, than of one who lays down his life for another: love that does not seek it's own way.
Well, what is the definition of love? Billboards and ads tell us that "love is love." However, only a fool defines a word, with that very word. This is the perfect example of when the simple have the money to buy wisdom, they might have the cash to pay for all the influencers, all the ads and billboards in order to promote their slogans that they call wisdom, but their hearts cannot receive true wisdom nor can they understand it. This clearly shows that one can "make it" in today's world with all of the money, the houses and cars, and all the followers and fame to show for it. Nevertheless, they are absolutely void of true wisdom, and real love.
Here is the definition of true love:
Love is patient
Love is kind
Love does not envy
Love does not boast
Love is not proud
Love does not dishonor others
Love is not self-seeking
Love is not easily angered
Love keeps no record of wrongs
Love takes no pleasure in evil
Love rejoices in the truth
Love bears all things
Love believes all things
Love hopes all things
Love endures all things
Love never fails.
This is pretty much the complete opposite of what is pushed in this day and age. Pop stars teach our children that unforgiveness is a source of drive and ambition; social media displays constant envy, boasting and pride as users try to "keep up" with impossible standards; videos circulate online of parents playing cruel pranks on their toddlers- making them believe they are abandoned and rejected- while the viewers take pleasure in watching such wickedness; technology keeps our eyes glued to a screen whilst ignoring the living people that are around us every day; divorce is glorified over patience and endurance. True selfless love has waxed cold, and failed. Subsequently, wisdom cries out but none will hear her.
Wisdom’s Rebuke
Out in the open wisdom calls aloud,
she raises her voice in the public square;
on top of the wall she cries out,
at the city gate she makes her speech:
“How long will you who are simple love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery
and fools hate knowledge?
Repent at my rebuke!
Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings.
But since you refuse to listen when I call
and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,
since you disregard all my advice
and do not accept my rebuke,
I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you—
when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
“Then they will call to me but I will not answer;
they will look for me but will not find me,
since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the Lord.
Since they would not accept my advice
and spurned my rebuke,
they will eat the fruit of their ways
and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
For the waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
but whoever listens to me [wisdom] will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

Wisdom cries aloud. It is available to all who are willing to open their eyes to the truth, open their ears to understanding, and open their hearts to the WORD of God. In fact it is written that any and all who shall ask God for true wisdom, shall have it given unto them.
All the money in the world, cannot purchase a revelation of wisdom. A revelation, is a knowledge that is experienced. This is why wisdom is the true treasure that cannot be bought.
Wisdom must be sought,
received,
and caught.

Refuse to give up, forget what lies behind, and press on to the New Land of Victory that GOD has purposed for you.
